About Us

If you can’t get to Paris shop here!

Beaufort Décor's Owner and Proprietor Shirley M. Ramundi first opened her doors back in December 2008 originally calling Queen Street East in Toronto home to her Parisian influenced shop.

Being the granddaughter of a Parisian seamstress and dressmaker, Shirley's love for all things French has inspired much of the way she runs her business.

In 2013, Shirley made the decision to relocate her shop to Midtown Toronto in the Yonge & Lawrence Village area where it resided until 2017 when Shirley decided to take it mobile.

Beaufort specializes primarily in reupholstery services, and producing custom cushion designs in any style or size for both indoor and outdoor. Recently, Beaufort's bench cushion work was recognized in Canada's Style at Home magazine.

Shirley says she established the business on three guiding principles; uniqueness, outstanding customer service and affordability. Many of the lines in the shop are designed by her daughter Alexandra Ramundi, an interior design student at Ryerson University.

Beaufort is also an excellent place to have your much loved furniture pieces reupholstered and they employ the best in the business to do the work quickly and precisely. If a customer is looking for quick ready made cushions, a unique décor piece and/or a beautiful hostess gift, the shop offers an assortment of products - many of which they design and produce themselves.

In addition to this, they now produce custom window coverings and plan to expand more of their own product line this year. However, Shirley says "Of all things we do, I am most proud of our exceptional customer service" - and is quick to add "It has always been my desire to create a welcoming atmosphere and a hassle-free experience to all my customers."

Although the brick and mortar building closed in 2017, Shirley and her team continue to offer the same exceptional services through Beaufort's website.
