Mason Project

MASON BLVD. Project

We wanted to keep the chairs looking very classic, therefore, we went with a very traditional double piping around the seat edge.

These Circa early 20th century English "Footed" Club chairs were found by our client at auction. The set is a prized possession of our client however, she wanted them to be comfortable for family to gather in them around the fireplace. Inside the chairs were very damaged from years of use so we removed all of the horse hair, commonly used in that era and repaired all straps inside giving the chair the proper support it so needed. Our client chose a very fun "Dot" fabric in raised velvet. Stunningly gorgeous!

The Mason Blvd. project involved chairs and sofas that were both family heirlooms, antiques and much loved newer traditional furniture peices. We started in the dining room and updated the client's high-backed cane chairs by cleaning and regluing the frames and replacing the seat foam and upholstering the seat cushions. Our client chose a brightly coloured fabric with a soft threaded diamond detail that was tranditional, but not boring - giving the chairs a more modern feel.

Thank you! We will be in touch soon.
